Well known in Bouzy, the family has been cultivating vineyards since the 16th century. In 1904, Marcellin Beaufort sells "Bouzy natural wines"; in 1929, it markets its first champagnes. His grandson Henri and his sons Hugues and Ludovic operate a house that has its own 13.5 ha vineyard.
