Senderos de Ukan is a wine made by the fifth generation of the Eguren Family in Rioja Alavesa, with 100% Tempranillo grapes from a selection of vineyards over 40 years old. This wine, nicknamed ‘the little brother’ of the Ukan winery, follows a principle of minimal intervention to preserve the freshness and purity of the fruit. Fermented in concrete tanks and aged for 12 months in second and third use French oak barrels, Senderos de Ukan stands out for its balance, silkiness and freshness.
Koldo Eguren, descendant of a family with a rich winemaking history, heads this limited production winemaking project, with a focus on reflecting the terroir and landscape of Rioja Alavesa. Each vineyard is vinified separately, allowing the wine to express the uniqueness of each plot. The result is a modern, fluid and fruit-driven wine, ideal to be enjoyed from the very first moment.
